Home Movies 25th Anniversary: Legacy of Animated Show, Adult Swim

Paul Cecchini

Paul Cecchini is an award-winning freelance writer from Springfield, Missouri. An avid writer since childhood, he started getting paid for his words when he reached out to local companies to write their blogs. A freak series of events led to him becoming the editor of a local newspaper in a quaint midwestern town. He would write hundreds of news and feature articles for the publication, several of which earned him first-place recognition from the Missouri Press Association.

As much as he loves writing about local happenings, his real passion is the entertainment industry. Once he found out that he could make a successful career as a freelance writer, writing about the latest TV shows, movies and video games, he started down that path and never looked back. He's written for a number of reputable outlets, including Gizmodo, Mental Floss and Kotaku among many others. And yeah, he still writes about local midwestern happenings from time to time when he's not too busy gushing about the latest anime and cartoons.

When not writing about the current entertainment happenings, you'll likely see Paul working on his upcoming children's book, people-watching in coffee shops, taking long walks along park trails or spending an unhealthy amount of time indoors watching cartoons/anime and browsing the web. His writing mantra is that everyone has a story, and he’s always on the lookout for the next one to tell.
