Based in Brooklyn, Vincent grew up right outside of Boston and went to college in the heart of the city at Suffolk University. Throughout college, he spent the entirety of his four years bartending and mastering the best espresso martini in the game, while also crafting out his early days in social media by interning at Boston Magazine and Vice Media. Upon graduating in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vincent made the move to New York City in January 2021 to contribute to the social team at The New York Times. The opportunity to truly hone in on his passion for the world of cinema and television came when he joined the IndieWire team in January 2022. You can always find Vincent with his camera strapped to him, as he has snapped photos of A-listers like Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Coolidge, Julia Fox, Anne Hathaway, Oscar Isaac, HoYeon, Simu Liu, Seth Rogen, Evan Peters, and many more. Some of Vincent’s favorite actors include Chloë Sevigny and Paul Mescal, both of whom he has had the chance to interview — at NYFF, Sevigny told Vincent that <a href=https://www.indiewire.com/author/vincent-perella/"https://www.indiewire.com/features/general/chloe-sevigny-bones-and-all-stunt-coordinator-1234770330/">she was ravenous to work with Italian auteur Luca Guadagnino again</a> — even if for a cannibal movie with no lines, and at the Indie Spirit Awards, Mescal told Vincent that <a href=https://www.indiewire.com/author/vincent-perella/"https://www.indiewire.com/features/general/paul-mescal-wants-to-keep-making-indie-films-1234815921/">“indie cinema is where I want to live and be.” </a> When he’s not attached to his laptop, you can find Vincent exploring the city for the best cold brew and dirty gin martinis.
